Tyler’s Playtime Ball
http://www.cccbc.net/mardyl/1494 This was our 1st Annual Tyler Reader Charity Ball and was held on Saturday 12th November 2016 to mark the 1st Anniversary of Tyler’s passing away.
http://www.airlinetest.com/?milyokrt=tanzkurse-f%C3%BCr-singles-saarland&151=51 It was a wonderful, fun-filled evening at the Conservatory at Luton Hoo’s Walled Garden where 185 people came together to raise £22,000 for Tyler’s Fund.
http://tjez.gob.mx/perdakosis/6656 The success of this evening has encouraged us to make this an annual event and we are holding Tyler’s Wonderland on Saturday 11th November 2017. Further information for this event can be found here.

http://metodosalargarpene.es/ebioer/129 Well done to the 3 members of Team Tyler that ran in the St. Albans Half Marathon on Sunday 11th June. A great effort was put in by all 3 runners on a very hot morning to finish together as a team after 13.1 miles and a lot of hills!
https://www.reunionsaveurs.com/viopes/1371 In doing this run they managed to raise a fantastic amount of over £500 for the Tyler Reader Brighter Future Fund, well done!

We were very fortunate that in our first year (2016-17) we were nominated as one of the Mayor of Harpenden’s Chosen Charities and gained their support to put on some amazing events over the 12 months. These ranged from quizzes to children’s film afternoons to a Battle of the Bands concert involving Harpenden’s three Secondary Schools.
Our favourite event though had to be the opportunity to hold a stall at the 2016 Harpenden Carnival. It was an incredible day and meant we were able to speak to a lot of local residents about who we were and try to educate them about Sepsis and what to look out for.
It was a wonderful year and a special thanks goes to the Mayor and her Team who helped us to raise £3,250 during our time with them.
follow The Fun and the Physical
One thing we’ve learned so far is that we are never short of people willing to do something to help contribute towards creating Tyler’s legacy. From the wonderful people at the Golden Lion who organised a fantastic family fun day on Easter Sunday 2016, to Julia Thompson and everyone that took part in our netball tournament. We have taken part in so many marathons, half marathons and 10k races that there are too many to list, but we are incredibly grateful to everyone that laced up their running shoes and pushed themselves to help us.
A special thank you goes to Georgia Fredericks. Georgia was Tyler’s Key Worker at his Nursery and so knew him as well as most of us. In August 2016 we went to watch Georgia as she conquered her fears and jumped out of a plane at 12,000 feet in memory of Tyler. What a truly incredible act. Thank you Georgia.
Challenge Roth 2017
Thomas Garlich was touched by the sadness to Tyler’s Story and on the 9th July 2017 he took part in Challenge Roth. This was Thomas’ first Ironman race and was a total of 226 Km of swimming, cycling and running. We are very grateful to Thomas and his Family for the hard work and dedication that he put in to this race and are so proud of him for completing it. Thomas’ incredible efforts raised an amazing £1,714.56 for the Tyler Reader Brighter Future Fund.
Well done Thomas!
